State Level Workshop for UP under IVFRT Project
State Level training-cum-Workshop for IVFRT was organized from 20-29th August 2014 at FRRO Office, Lucknow to sensitize FROs (Foreigners Registration Officers) of all the 75 districts of the State. The entire state was divided into 8 batches and one-day workshop was conducted for each batch. Around 80 police officers who are responsible for the functioning of foreigners registration offices in the districts and police headquarters of UP, posted in SSP/SP offices, Local Intelligence Unit(LIU), Deputy Superintendents of Police, Inspectors & Sub Inspectors of UP Police attended the workshop, All these officers were sensitized about the Mission Mode Project (MMP) of Immigration, Visa, Foreigners Registration & Tracking (IVFRT) initiated by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government. of India.
Shri. H.K. Rai FRRO Lucknow from GOI, addressed the participants and also clarified many emerging queries and operational issues of participants about Registration, Form C, Form S and Visa Extension issues and also briefed about HUB-n-SPOKE model for cFRO in the State. FRRO also reviewed the progress of implementation of IVFRT in all the districts of UP. The training sessions for all eight days was conducted by NIC officers - Sh. Suryodaya Verma, Scientist ‘D’, State Co-ordinator, IVFRT Project UP state and Sh. M.M.Khan, Scientist ‘C’. The workshop was full of technical presentations and live demonstrations of various modules like Online Registration module (C-FRO) module, FormC, Student Forms (FormS), Prior Reference Check(PRC), Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS), Centralized Black List (BL), VPN Token. End of each training session, the queries of the participants were answered by FRRO, Lucknow and NIC officers.
