Haryana: IntraGov Portal with integrated e-Office Applications received Award of Appreciation of the CSI-Nihilent e-Gov Awards

The award was presented by Sh. J. Satyanarayana, Secretary  Department of Electronics & IT Govt of India and Prof. SV Raghavan National President CSI & Scientific Secretary to Principal Scientific Advisor to Govt of India  on Saturday, 14th Dec 2013 at 6.00 PM  at Vishakhapatnam at the concluding session of e-Governance Knowledge Sharing Summit [KSS-2013], an  integral part of 48th Annual Convention of Computer Society of India (CSI-2013). Sh. GVL Satya Kumar Dy. Chairman, Vishakhapatnam Port Chairman & Sh. Pyush Gupta Chairman CSI-Special Interest Group on e-Governance were also present at award distribution function.

The IntraGov award was received by Sh. Ghan Shyam Bansal Dy. DG & SIO NIC Haryana and Sh. Deepak Bansal, Sr. Technical Director NIC-HrSC. Other team members : Sh. Yash Pal, Scientist C, NIC-HrSC .

A brief Overview of IntraGov-Haryana Project is as given below:

The IntraGov-Haryana (www.intraharyana.nic.in) is aimed to provide a single point gateway which integrates government transactions and services within and across various departments as well as those between the government and its employees. IntraGov-Haryana with integrated e-Office is a product that aimed at improving the government functioning through more efficient, effective and transparent intra-government transactions and processes. Various e-governance initiative for small information systems were got developed and employees has to remember many passwords for availing the benefit of the ICT for using different information system. State required an integrated framework for meeting its growing demand of  ICT tool in delivering prompt governance. IntraGov Haryana brought together the previously independently developed functions and systems under a single framework. More than 12 subsystems, that existed independently, have been integrated at the back end, with single sign on secure access. Initially it was implemented in Haryana Civil secretariat and Chief Secretary’s office,  covering 2,500 employees over Intranet. On successful implementation in Haryana Civil secretariat and Chief Secretary office, system  implementation has been extended to all employee of state government across the state. More than 2,23,000 employees of the state has been registered and provided user password on their mobile phones.

Project is Jointly implemented by NIC-Haryana & General Administration Department & Department of Administrative Reforms, Government of Haryana.
