Training-cum-Launching of c-FRO (Centralized Foreigners Registration Office) module under IVFRT-MMP were organized at FRO Tehri Garhwal with SP Officials successfully on 30th September and 1st October 2013.

In Uttarakhand all the 13 FROs are to be covered out of which 3 FROs namely Haridwar, Dehradun and now the Tehri Garhal FRO has been implemented with c-FRO module under IVFRT-MMP. c-FRO was first rolled out in Haridwar on pilot basis on 9th November 2012 and in Dehradun on 6th May 2013 and recently in Tehri Garhwal it was rolled out successfully on 1st October 2013.

NIC has also implemented the online c-Forms and S-Forms for hoteliers and educational Institutes, Yoga Centers and Ashrams which falls under the jurisdictions of these FROs for the registration of foreigners.

In the series of training-cum-awareness programmes, another sensitization programme on online c-FORM was also conducted at Vasundhra Palace, Muni-ki-Reti, Rishikesh, Tehri Garhwal district on 3rd October 2013. Nearly 50 representatives from different Hotels, Ashrams, Yoga Centers and Guest Houses were presented and they were sensitized by the online C-Form and S-Form. Participants were explained about the mandatory requirement of on-line submissions of foreigners’ stay detail as per the Govt. of India notification and BoI directions. Demos for requesting and registering the user-Id and password by hoteliers were shown to the participants. Subsequently, queries from different stake holders were taken and answered to their satisfactions. The training program was ended with vote of thanks to all concerned.
