Two days’ Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on Immigration, Visa, and Foreigner’s Registration & Tracking-Mission Mode Project (IVFRT-MMP) was organized on 3rd and 4th May 2013 at Police Head Quarter (PHC), Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The Capacity Building Programme was formally inaugurated by Sh. Sanjay Sharma, AIG (Special Branch), PHC, Raipur. In his inaugural speech, he briefed the importance of IVFRT-MMP and gave necessary instructions to expedite the works related to infrastructure and make sites ready so that the IVFRT project can be implemented soon.

The Capacity Building Programme was attended by 53 district level Police Officers and 15 District Informatics Officers (DIOs). The important modules covered in the above two days programme were C-FRO, C-Form, S-Form and PRC. Each session on the above modules expensively covered PowerPoint presentation covering core concepts, salient features of the application as well as various reports. In order to impart further clarity to the participants on the above applications live demonstrations were also carried out through training server.

Entire Training Programme was well coordinated and successfully organized by Sh. Ashok Kumar Banjare, TD and IVFRT State Coordinator, NIC, Chhattisgarh. The contribution of Sh. Sanjay Tripathi, Scientist ‘B’, NIC, Nagpur was also praiseworthy. He not only helped IVFRT State Coordinator Sh. Banjare in imparting training programme but also shared his valuable experience on implementation of the IVFRT-MMP in Maharashtra State with the participants. On the whole, the CBP was very successful as well as useful for all the participants. All help and support were extended from the IVFRT Division, NIC (HQ), New Delhi.
