Workshop at Kushinagar

The state portal, SSDG and eform project has been formulated under the National eGovernance Plan (NeGP).  The aim of the project is to make government services accessible to the citizens right at doorstep. To achieve the goal about 1 lakh Common Service Centres (CSCs) are being established across the country. Out of these more than 17000 CSCs are being established in Uttar Pradesh alone. These service outlets will enable the citizen to receive certificates, submit and download application forms on anywhere anytime basis.

In order to ensure transparency in the services, the manual processes have been automated and digital signatures have been introduced along with the tracking mechanisms for the public. A training programme was organised on 19th July 2012 in Kushinagar to make the employees and officials well versed with the new working system. The workshop was chaired by Shri Rigzian Sampheal, District Magistrate while Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav , District Informatics Assistant, Shri Yogesh Shukla Co trainer and other district administrative officials attended the training session that emphasized on the guidelines and functions of digital signatures and process flow of the eForms application.
