Online facility for MSMEs to apply for Subsidy in Tamil Nadu

"Entrepreneurs in the Micro, Small and Medium (MSME) sector can file the Subsidy application Online and can get the acknowledgement immediately. The Online facility was inaugurated on 12th February, 2009 by the Principal Secretary, MSME, Govt of TamilNadu.

The Entrepreneur who wants to apply for Subsidy can visit www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in and can file online application for Capital Subsidy in the format prescribed by Government of TamilNadu.

The system has the facility for all DICs to login and process all the applications filed online. The system facilitates the DICs to capture the details at the following stages.

• Field Inspection
• Sanction
• Disbursement

The website also provides a facility to the Commissioner of Industries & Commerce to monitor the applications filed online.

• A G2B system to facilitate the Entrepreneurs of MSME for online filing of application for Capital.
• Entrepreneur can visit the web site http://www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in and file their application on any day / any time / anywhere and get their acknowledgement immediately in the prescribed format of Govt. of India
• Entrepreneur can see the processing status of the application
• System has in-built checks to verify the permitted Manufacturing / Servicing Activities.
• No need to visit the District Industries Centres (DIC) for application / clarifications.
