Training com workshop on ‘On-Line Room Booking System’ For Haryana Tourism Corporation

Haryana Tourism Corporation runs 44 resorts across the Haryana state. The On-Line Room Booking System is being implemented at 27 resorts since 4th August, 2009. Up to now collection of more than 50 crores has been observed by the corporation. The user department has been feeling requirement of workshop on the On-line system for the other resorts also. Consequently, training was organized by Haryana Tourism Corporation with the support of NIC, Haryana on 3rd, 4th & 11th November 2011. It was conducted at Haryana Civil Secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh. A total of 40 officers/officials have attended this workshop.
The On-Line Room Booking System is a complete integrated solution for hotel management having interface for rooms booking through payment gateway, tourist agents, resorts counters and having facilities of check in, check out, change room, blocking of rooms, cancellation of bookings etc. It also has various reports for the resorts managers and management as per their role. It has five main modules according to roles of the user.
• Administrative Module
• Management
• Resort Manager
• Counter In-Charge
• Tourist/ Customer Module
The training was accomplished by Mr. Deepak Bansal, Technical Director and Mr. Yashpal, SSA from NIC Haryana who demonstrated all the modules in detail.
Hands on sessions were also organized for participants for better understanding of concepts and work flow of the application.
