CEO Himachal Pradesh Launched Voter Sahayak Mobile App Developed by NIC District Shimla

Before the Assembly Elections of Himachal Pradesh, a voter festival was organized by the District Election Officer, Shimla on October 14, 2022 at the historic Ridge Ground under voter awareness in the state. During this fair, Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Maneesh Garg launched the Voter Sahayak Mobile App. He said that the Voter Sahayak App will be helpful for the awareness of voters and any other information related to the election. Apart from this, this app will also be useful for the officers of the Election Department.

Voter Sahayak App will provide the following information to the voters:
- Number of persons waiting to vote at the polling station on the day of polling to enable electors to visit the Polling Station when the waiting period is less saving their time. This feature has been enabled for almost 1,000 Polling Stations in 8 Assembly segments of Shimla District.
- Facility to search your name in voter list
-Navigate to the polling station
-Contact details of concerned officials
-Complete voter list of a polling station

The Mobile App “Voter Sahayak” has been developed by NIC District Centre, Shimla on the request of District Administration Shimla. The Mobile App is outcome of sincere efforts put forward by NIC Team of Sh. Pankaj Gupta, District Informatics Officer and Sh. Deepak Kumar, Additional District Informatics Officer. The App has proved very helpful during the Elections held on 8-Nov-2022.
