“Poll - Sampark” -an android app was designed by Abhjit Kakoty DIO Golaghat and Sushruta Rajkhowa ADIO Golaghat under District Governance Mobile initiative. The Poll - Sampark mobile app is aimed at helping the polling personnel engaged in Assembly Election 2021 by providing various critical and time-bound information such as poll day information, training information, decoding centre information, sector and zonal officer information, presiding officer compendium etc. Timely delivery of appointment letters to staff deployed for election has always been a challenge for the office of District Election Officer. The proposed app will facilitate the delivery of electronic copies of order, training schedule, decoding information etc. 

 

The mobile app was launched by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Golaghat, Shri Bibhash Chandra Modi in a meeting held at the conference hall of DC Office Golaghat on 11/03/2021. Speaking on the occasion, the DC applauded the NIC Golaghat Team for developing the app in quick time despite being engaged with round the clock election work. He instructed the training cell to ensure training of polling personnel on the functioning of the app. Abhijit Boruah, ACS, CEO Zila Parishad, Orpah Baglary, ACS, DDC, Moon Gogoi, ACS, ADC Election, Pallavi Gogoi,ACS, ADC and Kuldip Hazarika, ACS, ADC were also present in the launching ceremony.
