eResource is a real time, web based resource automation system developed by Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division which automates the manual process of managing the available consumable resources. It manages the creation of new request, obtaining approval for the items in the request, issuing the item in the request, acknowledging and managing the discrepancy in the issued item, managing the stock level, updating the stock based on the purchase/Issue details, generating various reports as per the purchase or issue request. It is especially designed and customized as per the roles and responsibilities of the user and to achieve the real-time synchronization of goods receipts and inventory warehouse levels.

After the successful implementation of eResource in Cabinet Secretariat and its attached offices, Cabinet Secretariat is getting request from various Ministry/Department to replicate the eResource for their use. Senior officials of Director General, Directorate of Civil Aviation has desired to replicate the eResource for DGCA.

In this context, training program was organized for the officials of the DGCA on 04/04/2019 at Conference Room, Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The Training session was started with  overview by  Shri Vijay Tiwari, Scientist-‘C’ of Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division followed by the workflow and application management including, master database creation (creation of user, roles of users, post assignment, role assignment  and settings (policy) along with hands-on training on various roles. Training has been attended by officials of Directorate of Civil Aviation. During the training session all the modules of DGCA-eSamikSha and various roles of respective users have been explained in detail.

The session has been ended with the question & answer session and vote of thanks.
