C-Form sensitization programme held at Srinagar, Kashmir under IVFRT-MMP

C-Form sensitization programme was held on 03rd August 2013 at Conference hall, FRO Office complex, Srinagar, Kashmir. Members of hoteliers association, representatives from some prominent hotels of Srinagar, FRO Staff and NIC participated in the programme. C-FRO rollout was done in FRO Kashmir office on 15th December 2012.

Dr Haseeb Mughal, SSP, FRO Kashmir presided over the programme. He explained participants about the Foreigners Act covering the C-Form submission. He also gave a brief on the scope and importance of IVFRT-MMP, the stake holders involved in the project, and future course of action.

Sh. Suresh Kumar, Technical Director, NIC J&K State unit emphasized on the use of Information Technology (IT) in all spheres of our activities today. He also narrated the implementation of foreigners’ registration using IT tools and the various benefits from its implementation.

Sh. Tahir Mahajan, SSA and Coordinator IVFRT project NIC gave a detailed online demonstration on the hotel registration, C-Form data submission and online C-FRO registration.   

At the end of the session queries raised by participants were replied to by officials from NIC and FRO. The sensitization programme ended with hearty vote of thanks to all.
