Launching of IVFRT system for Districts of Tamilnadu at Coimbatore on 22/04/2013

Immigration, Visa, Foreigners registration and Tracking (IVFRT) system was launched for Tamil nadu districts at Coimbatore on 22/04/2013. It is a Mission mode National e-Governance project of Govt. of India to provide the high standard of integrated Visa and Immigration services for the visiting foreigners to India and the Immigration services for citizen of India travelling abroad.

With a brief note on IVFRT the welcome address was presented  by Sh. R.Kuppusami, PSA, NIC-IVFRT, Chennai, in which he has mentioned the initiative, continuous efforts and contribution of  Sh. P.K. Bharadwaj,  IPS, JD(I), MHA, New Delhi, Dr. B.N.Shetty, DDG, NIC-IVFRT, New Delhi and Dr. N.Kannan, IPS, FRRO, Chennai along with welcoming the Sh. Karunakaran, IAS, District Collector, Sh.Davitson, IPS, IG, SZ, Sh.Ganeshmurthi, IPS, DIG, CBE range, other senior IPS officials and dignitaries for the inaugural.

The launching program was started with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries.

Inaugural address was presented by Sh. P.K.Bharadwaj, IPS, JD(I), MHA, New Delhi wherein he  mentioned his long association with Immigration services for the country and its practical issues along with how IVFRT system is being providing unified solutions  for the  visiting foreigners to India. He has also urged the Foreigners registration Officers (Districts supernatant   of Police) need of their initiative and contribution for the successful implementations of the IVFRT system in the country.

Theme address on IVFRT project was delivered by Dr.B.N.Shetty, DDG, NIC-IVFRT, New Delhi in which he explained to the participants about the vision and mission of the IVFRT project and how its computerised solutions are being delivered. He has also narrated how different sub systems of IVFRT are capturing the information about the visiting foreigners and integration of these systems thus facilitating the Indian Mission to process the C-Visa and the Immigration service in the country by MHA/FRRO/FRO.

Dr.N.Kannan, IPS, FRRO, Chennai presented in depth analysed lecture on Immigration services and need of the active contributions by FRO through IVFRT system to provide composite solutions for the visiting foreigners and also how these services were enhancing foreign exchange and how it helps monitoring the security aspects of the country. He has also presented detailed users perspective presentation on IVFRT sub systems (C-Form, H-Form, S-Form, UCF, APIS and C-FRO etc).
 

Sh. Balasubramaniam, SBCID(II), Chennai was proudly conveying his long time association with NIC as a user and its service delivery  benefits to ease the administrative roles and responsibilities.  He has also distributed the new systems to the districts users for implementing the c-FRO.

The C-FRO system was successfully implemented at Coimbatore (Rural and Urban) and at Trichirapalli ( Rural and Urban) simultaneously during the course of launching time of IVFRT  program at Coimbatore. The task was carried out by NIC IVFRT team members of Tamilnadu under the guidance of Sh.V.Suresh, Technical Director, and State Coordinator for NIC-IVFRT project.
 

The inaugural ended with Vote of thanks by Sh. N.Tapliyal, RRO, Coimbatore.
