eGovernance workshop in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh
A workshop was held at Aligarh on 10th July 2012 which emphasized on the benefits of eGovernance services for the citizens. Shri Alok Kumar, District Magistrate, Aligarh, along with around 50 senior officials of the district administration including ADM, CDO, SDMs, DSWO, DSO etc. participated in the workshop. The prime focus of the workshop was on imparting training to the government officials on the 26 new citizen centric services by state government, the electronic process flow and the use of Digital Signatures.
District Informatics Officer of Aligarh, Shri. Rajesh Gangal gave a brief presentation on status of eGovernance services in the district which was followed by hands on session on the eForms application. Practical training was imparted to the officials using online portal and a demonstration of digitally signed service was also provided.
The entire electronic process flow for the selected 26 services was explained by Shri. Sachin Saxena, Scientific Officer of NIC. Roles of each and every officer in the process of implementation of these services were also elaborated.
