Deputy CM Inaugurated Suwidha Building

Hon’ble S. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab inaugurated the SUWIDHA Centre in a dedicated new building on 11.11.2010 at Sangrur district.  Accompanied by S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Cabinet Minister, Department of PWD B&R, Punjab, S. Gobind Singh Longowal, Chairman, District Planning Committee, Sangrur, S. Gobind Singh Kanjla, Ex Minister, Punjab, Dr. Harkesh Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, S. Pritam Singh Johal, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, Deputy Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur and its Administrative Officers and also lauded  the role of NIC in providing the technical support.

 

 

The state of the art building houses well-equipped infrastructure to provide convenient to the citizens to provide on the spot services such as Attestation of Affidavit, Birth & Death Certificates, Registration of Marriages, Counter Singing of Documents, Arms Licenses & related services, Delivery of copy of Revenue Records & Court Orders  etc through a number of counters.  Value-added facilities like Photostat and lamination, Doctor, staff for helping in filling of forms, SMS and mobile response services etc have also been offered in the SUWIDHA building to avoid the citizens from any harassment for petty works. A separate grievance cell especially has been set up in the building wherein citizens can lodge any sort of grievance related to SUWIDHA services being offered in the new SUWIDHA centre.
