NLRMP oriented to help grassroots - Capacity building programme at Patna during 18-20 June 2009
The components of NLRMP are –
Computerization of Registration
Computerization of land records
Survey/resurvey and updating of the survey & settlement records
Development of core GIS and capacity building
Automatic flow of data from SRO to Land Records to initiate mutation
In the core the project aims to integrate the three main departments for the purpose of

Registration
In order to achieve the objective behind the project, a training programme was organized at Patna during 18th - 20th June 2009. The officers of Revenue Department including Survey and Settlement, Registration Department, BIPARD and NIC attended the first training programme in Bihar.
The main topic covered in the Training Sessions were –
Generic System for Registration
Standardization of Codes
Integration of LR and SRO
Digitization
Surveying
Interventions of modern tools and technique using GPS, Total Station, GIS, Remote Sensing etc. were well appreciated by the participants.
Moreover, an overview on NLRMP, Computer Basics, Collabland, Geo Tools (Bhunaksha), Modern Record Room, Project Management, Network Connectivity, Data Centre, Information Security were also given to the participants for appreciating the issues involved in the proposed project.
The Haryana model was put up in the training session as a Case Study for the integration of Land Records and Property Registration.
The highlight of the complete training programme was the field tour of participants and practical demonstration by Shotam Instruments Pvt. Ltd. representatives.
