Shri Rajesh Gera, DG, NIC, spoke about the new eOffice and highlights adoption of paperless regime across Central Government Offices

Shri Rajesh Gera, Director General, NIC, spoke about the new version of eOffice and its adoption across Ministries and Departments in a Workshop on Good Governance Practices at Vigyan Bhawan on December 23, 2022. During the Session, he highlighted the best eGovernance practices for creating a paperless regime in the Central Government.

eOffice seeks to support Governance by facilitating effective and transparent inter and intra-government processes. The goal of e-Office is to make all government offices more efficient, responsive, effective, and transparent. The Open Architecture on which eOffice has been built, makes it reusable and replicable across the Governments, viz. Centre, State, and District levels. It combines the independent functions and systems into a single framework.
