Launch of the NIC Developed Assam Right to Public Services(ARTPS) Portal by Honble Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister
To further strengthen Honble PM Sri Narendra Modi's call for Minimum Government, Maximum Governance, the Assam Right to Public Services Portal, www.rtps.assam.gov.in was launched by Honble Union Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in the august presence of Honble Chief Minister Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma on the 7th of October, 2021 at the Srimanta Sankardev International Convention Centre, Guwahati.
The portal has been designed and developed by the National Informatics Centre, Assam, under the SERVICEPLUS Framework and facilitated by the World Bank Financed Assam Citizen-Centric Service Delivery Project (ACCSDP).
The Honble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma, lauded the efforts of National Informatics Centre for making services available to the citizens through RTPS portal. There are currently 47 services available through the ARTPS portal which will be extended to another 95 services. The CM said the web portal would prove to be a boon in providing notified citizen-centric service delivery to the people. He added that it will empower the people to apply and avail of public services from the comfort of their home or public facilitation centres. He also said that by 31st March, 2023 a complete transformation of Public Service delivery will be brought through the ARTPS portal. Honble CM mentioned the NIC has played a major role in bring technology for bringing citizens closer to the government services, particularly in transport, Employment exchange, Mission Basundhara and now in RTPS.
The team of RTPS Portal in NIC Assam comprises of Sh.Tapan Gogoi, STD & HoD, Smt. Anuradha Barua, TD, Shri Rahul Deka, Scientist C. The entire ServicePlus team of NIC HQ had extended their full support to NIC Assam team for the design and development of ARTPS Portal.
