SubscribeState Level Training on Personnel Information System (PIS) Held at Ranchi, Jharkhand.
state level training was organized on Personnel Information System (PIS) software for the designated nodal officers of all the departments of the state government. The PIS software, designed and developed by NIC, Jharkhand captures the employees details related to their basic information, appointment details, qualifications, promotions, postings, departmental exams, dependent & retirement details.
The web based software, developed on ASP.Net and Oracle platform, has form locking features and is role based. The three roles are Admin, Office head & Operator. Each role can create users next in their hierarchy and is password protected. The software has various reporting features and can print I - Card with photographs and facilitate capturing leave details, LTC, Medical claims etc availed by employees.
The state government has decided to implement the software across all the departments of the state. The logistics support for the training was provided by Mr. Prashant Belwariar, Manager NICSI at the state secretariat building and was organized from 16 to 18 Nov.2009.
