Sri Trivendra Singh Rawat, Honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand inaugurated eOffice Portal (https://eoffice.uk.gov.in) on 21st January 2020 at Uttarakhand Secretariat in the presence of all IAS officers gathered at state capital Dehradun. During the event by digitally signing electronic file Honourable Chief Minister approved the roll out the eOffice Application in the Uttarakhand Secretariat.

The event during the IAS week was witnessed by Sri Utpal Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary, Smt Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary (Secretary Administration Department), Sri Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu, Secretary Inormation Technology along with other senior level IAS officers  and District Magistrates joining the event across the state.

Shri Rajeev Joshi, Senior Technical Director & eOffice state project coordinator of NIC-Uttarakhand State Unit presented the work flow, processing and features of eOffice to the all State and District Level dignitaries during the eOffice soft launch event. He informed several round of trainings were organized for all field functionaries from top to bottom to build adequate level of confidence for making smooth operations over the system. A helpdesk has also been set up for quick and required technical support and review monitoring of the same would remain a continuous process. He also informed that core ICT infrastructure and last mile connection through Local Area Network has also been augmented after a due gap analysis. As already planned, shortly the system would be rolled out at remaining pockets of the apex institution, he reported.
