The process of land mutation was computerized at the Bero Circle office, Ranchi district with the inauguration of e-Mutation software, by Shri K K Sone, Deputy Commissioner on 2nd October’2009, the day having immense national importance and especially chosen to mark the birth anniversary of the father of the nation.

Shri Sone handed over the correction slip generated through the e-Mutation system to Kailash Ohdar and Ashrita Bara at a simple function organized on the occasion and declared that the e-Mutation system, designed & developed by NIC, District Centre Ranchi, will be implemented at other circles of Ranchi districts also.

The web based software, developed in ASP.Net uses SQL Server database and is role based on assigned duties. The operator enters the details of buyers, sellers, plots etc and generates the slip for the applicant. The dealing assistant verifies the entered details and generates ‘General Notice (Proclamation Notice)’ & Correction Slip after the mutation. Before this the Revenue Karamchari physically verifies the documents, plot from Register –II and submit his report. The Circle Inspector verifies the report submitted by Revenue Karamchari and the Circle Officer reviews the report submitted by both the CI & the karamchari respectively. In case of acceptance by the officer the updation of Register – II is carried out through the software, explained Shri Deepak Kumar, DIO who was present on the occasion.
