Hon'ble Governor, Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandiben Patel launched the Portal for U.P Sainik Punarwas Nidhi, on  7th December 2019 commemorating the Army Flag Day. The portal provides information on various schemes run by the Nidhi for Ex-Servicemen and their families. It also allows them to apply for these schemes on Internet right from their homes or nearest Cyber Cafes. The complete backend process has been automated and SMS services have been integrated at each action point to keep the applicant informed of the status of his/ her application. Application trail along with action taken by different authorities is being displayed at all levels to infuse transparency in the system. The families of Ex-servicemen will now find it much easier to avail the benefits of the schemes being run by the Sainik Punarwas Nidhi, Lucknow.
