Workshop cum training Program Organized on “Common Application System for Employment Exchange” (CASE) at Ranchi, Jharkhand

“Common Application System for Employment Exchange” (CASE) – a web based software catering to National Employment Service from NIC HQ. New Delhi was demonstrated on 10th August 2009 at Jharkhand Mantralaya, Ranchi.

The system takes care of all the common activities carried out at Employment Exchanges to maintain uniformity of procedures, MIS and returns compilation on a common platform with networking of all the exchanges said Shri S Krishnamurthy, SSA, NIC Delhi while demonstrating the various features of the software. The software facilitates the following activities.

· Registration of Job seekers as well as Employers,
· Vacancy Booking & Submission
· Employment Statistics
· Collection of Employment Market Information (EMI) for ER1 and ER2
· Vocational Guidance and Career Counseling for Self Employment
· Generation of Registration ID card with photograph

The workshop cum Training program began with an address by Shri Shahid Ahmad, SIO followed by Shri Deepak Sinha, Project officer, JAP-IT, Govt. of Jharkhand. The workshop was attended by all the Employment officers of Jharkhand led by Shri K D Tiwary, Director, Employment & Training, Govt. of Jharkhand. Shri P. Belwariar, Manager, NICSI & Mrs. Pompa Banerjee, SSA coordinated the event.
