Plan plus - Refresher Training Program Organized at Ranchi, Jharkhand

Shri Vishnu Kumar, Principal Secretary, Panchyati Raj, Govt. of Jharkhand inaugurated a refresher training program on Plan Plus, a software for decentralized planning, held at Ranchi in the first week of June ‘2009. Shri Kumar emphasized the importance of decentralized planning and said that the entire plan of the district can be prepared as per the actual need and requirements of the people to fulfill their expectations. The various modules and features of the software were discussed in detailed with the active participation of the trainees

The training program was attended by District Planning Officer’s, representatives of Technical Support Institutions (TSI), Panchayats, line departments etc. Shri Loukesh Kumar, Project Coordinator, NIC highlighted the achievements and the problems faced by the implementing agencies. The training program was conducted in two sessions each comprising of two days.
