eSuvidha, an online mechanism to fast track approvals and resolve issues pertaining to infrastructure and other large projects. The mechanism has been developed by the, Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division, with an objective to create an institutional mechanism for fast-tracking stalled investment projects, both in the public and private sectors,   With the growing demand of eSuvidha, Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas had desired to host MoPNG-eSuvidha portal, similar to eSuvidha portal with minor customization for Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.   The mechanism aims at resolving a variety of issues with a view to fast-track the approvals for setting up and commissioning infrastructure and other mega projects. Projects with total approved/anticipated cost of greater than Rs.100 crore to be entered by CPSEs, in the first instance.   Ms. Indrani Kaushal, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Launched the MoPNG-eSuvidha  portal on 18th May, 2018 at Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.    In this context, a workshop has been organized for the officials of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and its CPSEs. The workshop started with introduction & key note address by Ms. Indrani Kaushal, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Thereafter, Mr. Amar Arora, Scientific Assistant-B, NIC (Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division) discussed the agenda for the workshop followed by audio/video presentation. Thereafter, the workflow of MoPNG-eSuvidha explained in detail. The live demonstration of the portal including submission of new projects/issues, updating of comments by the recipient Department(s) and generation of various MIS Reports etc. were also given. During the demonstration all the real-time examples were used to better connect with the participants. During the workshop, Admin module of eSuvidha was also discussed which demonstrates creation of nodal officer, assigning or changing the sponsoring department of a particular project, accepting or rejecting any project entered by public or private entrepreneur and other important tasks. Along with that, all the recently introduced features of Central PMG portal were also explained followed by hands-on session. Lastly, in Q & A session doubts of every individual participants were cleared by Mr. Amar Arora.   The session ended with vote of thanks by Ms. Indrani Kaushal, Economic Advisor, MoPNG.
