In a significant step towards strengthening digital governance in the healthcare sector, Shri Damodar Raja Narasimha, Hon’ble Minister for Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Telangana, launched the Clinical Establishment Act, 2010 Web Application developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Telangana for the Department of Public Health & Family Welfare (DPHFW).
The web application has been designed to provide a streamlined, transparent and accountable system for the registration and regulation of clinical establishments across the State. By digitizing key processes, the platform simplifies interactions between healthcare professionals and regulatory authorities while ensuring greater efficiency and compliance.
The application enables healthcare professionals to submit online applications for registration and licensing of clinics and other clinical establishments. It also facilitates the issuance and download of digitally certified licenses, reducing paperwork and minimizing processing time.
The launch marks an important milestone in the modernization of healthcare administration in Telangana. The platform is expected to enhance service delivery, improve regulatory oversight and promote ease of compliance for medical practitioners through a secure and citizen-centric digital framework.
Developed by NIC Telangana, the initiative reflects the continued commitment of the State Government towards leveraging technology to improve governance and strengthen public health systems.
