Jeevan Pramaan is a digital service designed for service pensioners and family pensioners to submit their Digital Life Certificate (DLC) electronically, eliminating the need for physical submission and simplifying the pension verification process. The application leverages Aadhaar-based biometric authentication to securely verify the identity of pensioners and facilitate seamless certification.
The Jeevan Pramaan platform supports multiple advanced biometric authentication methods, including secure face, fingerprint, and iris scanning. Pensioners can seamlessly authenticate using the official Aadhaar Face RD service directly from their personal smartphones, completely eliminating the need for expensive or cumbersome external biometric hardware. Alternatively, they can utilize registered fingerprint or iris scanners alongside standard RD services.
Once authentication succeeds, the system instantly generates a unique Pramaan ID and sends a confirmation message to the pensioner for easy tracking. The Digital Life Certificate is automatically forwarded to the Pension Disbursing Office, entirely removing the requirement for physical paperwork. Ultimately, this modern digital approach vastly enhances convenience, security, and efficiency across the nation.
