On 2nd Feb. 2005, honourable Deputy Commissioner,Sh M L Sharma, IAS, Sirmaur At Nahan inagurated Land Records computerisation at Tehsil Dadahu. This is the first tehsil of District Sirmaur and seventh of Himachal Pradesh which are now giving services of online entry of mutation and distribution of copies of various sorts of records of rights to the public.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that now common public of Dadhau tehsil would need not to go the patwari for Nakal as this would be available readily in the tehsil centre. He also devoted computerised Jamabandies to the people of Dadahu and also distributed the Nakals to the public.

The software for Land records computerisation is one of its kind in the country and has been devloped by NIC Himachal Pradesh State Centre and is under implementaiton in all the districts of Himachal Pradesh with close coordination of all DIOs.
